Sally Orange spent 22 years in the Royal Army Medical Corps before being medically discharged with severe depression. She still lives with suicidal thoughts on a regular basis.
But, after finishing the London Marathon in 2007, she has since gone on to complete more than 80 marathons around the World – often dressed as a piece of fruit!
Sally’s efforts – which were recently rewarded with an MBE – have helped raise more than £500,000 for more than 50 charities as she continues her quest to raise awareness about mental health.
